Fishing Report - 7.1.21
It's officially summertime in the valley and the fishing is on fire! The Snake is clear along with our surrounding tributaries. Down south, the Green is fishing great, as well as the Hoback! It's a great time of year to be out on the water. Stop by the store to pick up some flies and talk to the guys to get the most up to date intel!
Locally, the Snake is clear after an early runoff and water flows are down to 4,170cfs in GTNP and 6,420cfs in town and is fishing great! We've been having luck with several different flies but to name a few, Hippie Stomper in red #14, Yellow Humpty #14, Purple Craze #16, Raindrop #16 and French Dip #16 - they should all be productive on all stretches of water. Its a fun time to get out on the boat and throw small foam and other attractor flies and watch the cutties go to town.
It's the best time of the year to be on the Green! Flows at Warren Bridge are down to 561cfs. The fishing as been incredible the past couple weeks. Try throwing, Royal Stimulator #12, Micro Chubby in tan #16, CDC Para Spinner #12, DOA Cripple PMD #16 or a Psycho Prince #16.
